Russia and Eurasia Takeaway Packaging Demand Accelerates as Food Delivery Expands

Food delivery platforms across Russia and Eurasia continue to expand, increasing demand for practical takeaway packaging. Paper clamshell takeaway boxes are gaining attention among restaurants, cloud kitchens and delivery operators because they are stackable, grease-resistant and suitable for burgers, sandwiches, salads and hot meals.

For suppliers, the Russian market requires attention to EAC Declaration of Conformity under TR CU 005/2011. Packaging materials must meet food-contact safety requirements, and buyers increasingly request PE or PLA lining options, custom sizes and reliable printing.

Industry observers expect paper-based takeaway packaging to keep growing as delivery culture matures and operators seek more presentable, sustainable alternatives to foam and rigid plastic containers.
